In October of 2004, God, the Creator, began revealing a part of His creation that had existed for some time; but was hidden from view. A ministry, created by Him and for Him, began to become visible. At the time it seemed as though God had called a group together to be a part of a worship service in a unique way. He has since revealed that His plan was not for this group to be a component of worship, but, rather, to be the worship themselves, living, breathing sacrifices. He called this group Dorea, a Greek word that means gift, to remind them of the indescribable Gift He had given them in His Son, Jesus Christ. And so, He called them to dance. He called them to minister. He called them to empty themselves, so that He might reveal Himself through them.

In Dorea, it is not our passion to dance, but it is our passion to dance for Him. "In Him, we live, and move and have our being." The Holy Spirit has become our choreographer. He loving ly shows us "how beautiful the feet are that bring good news." Therefore, it is our prayer that this ministry would bring hope, healing and the highest praises of God not only to those who believe, but also to those who do not know Him. To the One and Only GOD be praise, honor, glory and power forever and ever!
